Education

As a successful student, with high average grades in their studies, 9,06 and as a recipient of the University Award for achieved success in her studies and graduated before the end of the said period. After completing the compulsory medical internship year, she worked as a general practitioner at the Health Center in Novi Kneževac. 1986 was admitted to the Clinic of Gynecology and Obstetrics, as an assistant in the scientific research work, after two years she got the master’s degree in the field of Diabetes mellitus type I in pregnancy. 1991 has successfully passed specialist examinations in gynecology and obstetrics. She attended the University Clinic in Italy, Greece, Germany and Australia.

Career

The first part of her professional career and scientific research was related to obstetrics. This is the area in which she published or at professional meetings at home and abroad presented a larger number of notable works.

Since 1993 she has been employed at the Institute of Oncology Sremska Kamenica where continuously advancing in the profession became Head of Department of Obstetrics operational in 2003. She is a regular member of many professional associations, among other things, the Association of gynecologist-oncologist Serbia, the European Society of Gynecological Oncology. She was a lecturer at the European School of gynecological oncology with the center of Milan, as well as Yugoslav schools for Colposcopy and Pathology of the vulva, vagina and cervix. She has published numerous professional and scientific papers in national and international journals. 2004 has successfully defended his doctoral dissertation in the field of cervical cancer, then was elected assistant professor at the Medical Faculty in Novi Sad.

Since 2005 she has been working in private medical practice. Fluent in English, knowledge of French and Greek. She is married and has one child.
